MeCullough、Emmons和Tsang(2002)依据McCullough的感恩层面理论(该理论认为感恩从形式上来说包括四个层面,即强度、频度、密度、广度)、以大学生为被试发展出的一份感恩自评问卷,用以测量被试者在特质感恩上的个别差异。此问卷包括六个项目(第3、6项为反向记分项目),以七点记分的方式让被试者评定,1代表强烈的不同意,4代表中立,7代表强烈的同意。
